What are your thoughts about Virgin Voyages in Alaska coming 2026? Vs NCL

Were you able to go to somewhere open to get that footage or do you have to have a media pass? I was in Orlando last week & tried to take some pictures down the street it's going to be on but it was blocked off.

I grew up going to Disney World since 1976. I get people saying splash mountain is nostalgic but so is River Country, Diiscovery Island and riding the train at Wilderness. I’m just so happy to watch everyone enjoying new adventures! Thank you!

agree w everything you have said. all that said, I would def still ride it, at the end of the day its a water ride in a hot State. and its cute enough to ride. but it is sad we have to say things like "its good enough" when Disney used to be known for "spectacular" reactions from people. I would like to see them go back to spectacular vs mediocre.

Now I've seen Princess and the frog, which I loved, my frost has somewhat thawed for this attraction! DEFINITELY love this attractions music.... but agreed Dev, will never be as great as Splash Mountain was... 👌

I rode on Wednesday and there was no line or downtime at 4pm, it was great timing. Honestly I miss splash mountain but they did a nice job with the new ride!

I haven’t been on the ride yet, but I agree with your assessment of it. I’m not rushing to get on this ride as I don’t see a glaring difference between it and Splash Mtn.

You mentioned that you wish that Disney would just build new rides from the ground up instead of using existing ones. I agree with you except the one that I will happy for it's true is when Indiana Jones takes over Dinosaur and I love Dinosaur and will miss it.

That offer is a little bit of a... always sale. I just booked an Alaskan cruise right when that same offer ended last week. When I check the site, same offer, expiring in 3 days. Pretty sure its around all the time.

What you have said in your previous videos about Disney and the path they have gone down is clear that they do not care about any morality. Ive always hated splash, thought the storyline was boring coming up as a kid. Im also glad its gone. Time brings change. I like tianas new storyline as I would have been upset if they had her as a frog the entire ride. The only black animated princess should have had a show showing her beautiful skin throughout the whole movie. Thats what the culture really deserves.

Dev I totally agree with your review. The ride would have been so good with the villain featured. Disney could have used introducing the villian as an opportunity to educate people. I think it's cute but could be alot better.

As a huge Disney fan I for the life of me can’t understand the love for splash mountain. Tiana’s seems more interesting and better visually for kids especially. What was so much better about splash? Is it just that it’s nostalgic? I honestly want to know not being sarcastic at all. I feel like people honestly want to complain about something. Yes Disney isn’t moving quite in the direction that we will all hope but I also think people hate Disney so much at this point everything they do at this point will be talked down on. If people are that upset maybe they should stop going and maybe Disney will get that picture better and make changes. 🤷🏾‍♀️
